What is coaching?

The definition of coaching, as stated by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is as follows: "Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative partnership that inspires clients to maximize their personal and professional potential. It is an ongoing process that helps individuals produce fulfilling results in their lives, careers, businesses, or organizations through the development of skills, the creation of awareness, and the establishment of accountability."

What is Transformative Coaching?

Transformative coaching is a unique coaching approach that focuses on the person's character and values rather than just their achievements or success. It is a process that aims to help individuals embrace positive changes in their lives and become the best version of themselves. The transformative coaching process helps individuals to develop a deeper understanding of who they are, what their values are, and what they want to achieve in life. With the guidance, encouragement, and support of the coach, individuals can tap into their full potential and experience personal and professional growth.

What advice do I get?

As your coach, my role is to facilitate your self-discovery process by actively listening to you and asking thoughtful questions that will help you clarify your goals and desires. Through our coaching sessions, you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your values, and develop the skills and strategies needed to overcome obstacles and achieve your desired outcomes. I will guide you through the process of self-exploration and support you as you draw your own conclusions and take action towards fulfilling your dreams.

How is coaching different from counselling?

Coaching is a forward-looking process that focuses on the present and future. The client is encouraged to explore their current situation and envision their desired future. In contrast, counseling typically involves examining past events and experiences to gain insight into the client's emotions and behaviors. Both coaching and counseling can be helpful in supporting personal growth and development, but they differ in their primary focus and approach.

What is the difference between coaching and consulting?

Coaching is a process where the client is empowered to generate their own sustainable solutions through self-discovery and exploration. On the other hand, consulting involves providing a set of options or solutions based on a pre-determined diagnosis. With coaching, the client is encouraged to tap into their own inner resources to find solutions, while consulting is focused on providing external expertise and solutions to the client.

What are your fees?

To get started, I offer a free first session. For subsequent sessions, my fees are negotiable and based on the individual needs of my clients. Additionally, I value referrals and offer a discount for each successful referral you make.
